I met Krissa & Jake a few weeks ago for their engagement session in downtown Kent on a beautiful late summer evening! I was so glad the weather cooperated because they traveled all the way from Tennessee for their session. When we were planning their photos, Krissa wanted to incorporate their white coats and stethoscopes in a few photos because they’re both doctors. How cute! Plus, they brought one of their save the dates, which just so happened to be a bottle of wine. The best part, they let me keep it! (And it was delicious.)

I’ve said it many times before, but engagement sessions are my favorite thing to shoot. There’s something so special about this season of life and I love getting to know my couples and how learn how they met and fell in love. I truly could have just keep on shooting because these two were so photogenic and you can see the love they have for each other. I can’t wait until their wedding day next year!
