It’s no secret that I love in-home newborn sessions! I’m pretty sure I post about my love for  them at least once a week. I will never get tired of going to my client’s homes and documenting those first few days of newborn life! The sweetest moments are captured in the space where you are most comfortable and that’s just the perfect session if you ask me!

When Aubrey contacted me about taking photos of her daughter, I was so excited! I went to college with Aubrey and we were in the same PR program! It’s always such an honor when friends contact me to document such a special season in their life. A few weeks after sweet Ava was born, I headed to their beautiful home for the photos. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was all the natural light that filled each room of their home. Talk about a photographer’s dream!

I also had a helper during their in-home newborn session! Their dog, Lola, was super interested in what I was doing! So of course I had to give her a little mini-photo shoot, too. Between Ava’s parents, Lola and her grandma who is her guardian angel, this little girl is so loved! It showed in each photo I took!
