First of all– let me start by saying I totally thought I blogged Sam’s in-home newborn session MONTHS ago. Not sure how this one slipped by my mind- but here we are. This session was so very special to me because my best friend Elizabeth (aka Beeb) and her husband Jordan welcomed their sweet baby boy into the world on November 26th. To say that I’m excited to have a new little best friend is an understatement! On the morning he was born, I was in a meeting and got the text from Jordan saying that Sam was here. He sent me the cutest photo of Beeb holding Sam and I openly started crying in the middle of the coffeeshop! I literally couldn’t help it because I was just so happy and absolutely couldn’t wait to meet him!

I drove down to Columbus the following week for Sam’s newborn session– but you know I had to go down the day before so I could get plenty of snuggles in! The session went perfectly and I told Sam multiple times that he should just get used to the sound of my camera because he will be hearing it for many more years to come! It was also during his newborn session that Beeb told me that instead of calling me Aunt Allison, he should just call me Aunt Cheese! ha!

Beeb & Jordan: I’m so excited for you both! You two are already the best parents and I’m so happy that I get to watch Sam grow up. Thank you for trusting me to capture so many big moments for you– love you all!
