Where do I even start with these two! From the moment we met at a coffeeshop to discuss wedding photography, I knew immediately that Lindsay and Dakota would be an amazing addition to the Allison Ewing Photography family! They are genuinely the nicest people and I literally couldn’t wait to get them in front of my camera! Lindsay wanted to wait until the leaves were out for their engagement photos, and we just so happened to pick the perfect weekend in October for it! First of all, can we talk about her dress? Perfection! They both had such great style with both of the outfits that they wore!

We started their engagement photos at the Everett Covered Bridge, which is one of my favorite spots in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There are lots of great photo locations here and I was so excited that we had the perfect fall day to explore! From there, we went to the Ledges Overlook to catch the sunset, and it certainly did not disappoint! Plus, these two are the easiest people to take photos of! Their laughter and love for each other was so apparent and I was so grateful to capture it all from behind my camera!

One of my favorite parts of engagement sessions is learning more about my couples and hearing all about their relationship! Towards the end of the session, we mentioned that Jason and I were traveling to Arizona in a week and Dakota, who is an air traffic controller, told me to let him know what flight we were on so he could keep an eye out for us. And let me tell you, as someone who is still terrified to fly, that made me feel at ease! Fast forward to when we land in Arizona a week later, the pilot came on and said “Welcome to Phoenix, where the temperature is 82 degrees. Thank you for flying Southwest Airlines. And if Jason and Allison are on this flight, Dakota says have a great trip and bring back some warm weather!” Jason and I looked at each other and couldn’t even believe it! I mean, how COOL is that?! It goes to show that I literally have the BEST couples ever!!! We will never forget that!
