Taking photos for a family that I’ve known for years is so special for me! So when Angela reached out about taking updated family photos, I was so excited. I absolutely love watching as these families continue to grow and I don’t take for granted that I have the honor of documenting different seasons of life for them!

The last time the Fantone family was in front of my camera was at my Christmas Mini Sessions last November. At that point, their daughter Madison was only a few weeks old! Now, she’s walking all over and chasing her brother around!

Even though these family photos were taken in September, I’m still calling it a summer photo session since it was 85 degrees and 90% humidity! But that didn’t stop us from having the best time at Thompson Park! We started with group shots and it quickly became obvious that each member of the Fantone family must be professional models on the side! There were so many adorable photos of them that it was hard to narrow it down for sneak peeks! I will mention that when I was focusing more on Madison, Max would put his head in front of my camera and give me the cheesiest grin!! He is by far the sweetest little guy and has such a funny personality! For instance, when I posted a photo to Facebook for their sneak peek, Max looked at it and said: “Oh, I LOVE our fam-a-wee PIT-CHER!” So.sweet.

We ended the session with photos of Madison for her first birthday party which is pumpkin themed. (I know I’m almost 30, but I also want to have a pumpkin themed party– so cute!)
