It’s no secret that in-home newborn sessions have my heart. So I was super excited to spend time last week with the cutest family of five in their beautiful home! The forecast wasn’t looking too great so we figured we’d take all the photos inside. But when I pulled into the driveway and saw their property had the most beautiful field of yellow flowers, I was praying the rain would hold off so we could take a few family photos outside! Luckily, the weather cooperated and I’m SO glad it did because the photos in the field are some of my all-time favorites! After exploring outside, we headed inside to take nursery photos and pictures of Noah. He is the cutest little peanut and was pretty much wide awake for the whole session! He definitely didn’t want to miss a minute of his newborn photoshoot debut!

My favorite part of in-home newborn sessions, and just in-home sessions in general, is the fact that I can capture life as it happens. And while Noah was eating, I spent some time with Eva and Liam just watching them play and capturing sweet moments. At one point, I showed Alanna a back of the camera shot of Liam playing with his truck and she told me that of all the photos, that particular one was SO him and that it’s the photo she’ll want to print and hang on the walls! That’s such a great testament to lifestyle sessions and just letting your kids be themselves in their element!

After Noah ate, we finished up his photos and ended with family snuggles on the couch! It was such a perfect session for the most adorable family!
