I can’t believe I’m writing this but, IT’S WEBSITE LAUNCH DAY! WOOHOO!! (All caps are definitely necessary!) It’s been a long time coming, but I’m happy to say that I have a little corner on the Internet that is all my own and it’s something that I am so proud of! When I started this little photography gig, I truly didn’t know the impact it would have on me and my future. Today, I can, without a doubt, tell you that this is truly what I want to be when I grow up. Telling stories through my camera gives me the most amazing feeling of joy and has lit a passion within me that I never knew existed.
Rewind back to several years ago when I started my first website, I did it all myself and it showed. I wasn’t proud of it and we can all agree that I definitely don’t have the patience or skill to be a designer. But if you are a small business owner or know someone who is, it’s not that easy to spend money on all the necessary items to have a successful business right away. So, instead, I invested my money into equipment and workshops that would be the building blocks of my business. All the while knowing that my online presence wasn’t where I wanted or needed it to be. But after an amazing summer, I knew it was time to focus on my website and blog!
So with the help of my friend and super talented designer, Linda of Lillash Design, we set out on the journey of an Allison Ewing Photography rebrand. One that reflected my style and where I see myself going in the future. We also worked with Kim Adams, owner of kimprinted, and she did the hand lettering in my new logo, which I’m obsessed with! And of course I can’t forget Nicholas Rhodes of Asgard Development for creating the website and making it come to life! I couldn’t have done this without you guys and I’m so grateful for your talents!
I hope you all can grab a cup of coffee and take a few minutes to explore my site! You may even see some of your photos throughout! And what’s a website launch without a giveaway?
