Elizabeth and Ismael are the type of couple that clearly found their soul mate in each other. When we met up with them on Saturday in downtown Cleveland for their engagement session, I knew from the very first photo I took of them that this was going to be the best session!

These two are getting married in Pittsburgh this Saturday! Yes, you read that right! Just a few days from now! They both live in Texas and since they weren’t coming back to Ohio until the week of their wedding, we decided that we could sneak in a engagement session then! I was nervous the whole week leading up to it because, in typical Ohio fashion, the weather can be unpredictable. And I knew I only had one shot to get this session in! Luckily the weather cooperated and didn’t rain– instead it was 95 degrees, but I’ll take that any day over rain!

When Elizabeth and I were talking about her vision for their engagement photos, she wanted something unique and with an urban feel. After I sent her the locations I was thinking of, she immediately sent me back an email showing me her red jumpsuit she was planning on wearing and said it would be the perfect contrast!

Over our two hours together, I can’t tell you how many times these two made each other laugh. It was the absolute best! I love seeing how my couples interact with each other and getting to capture genuine laughter and joy. There’s nothing better! Jason and I walked away from this session wishing these two lived closer because we know we’d all be friends.
