When a soccer-loving couple announces they are having a baby, you obviously have to have a soccer themed photo session! Back before the craziness that is currently happening in our world started, I met up with Steph & Larry at a local park to take these adorable baby announcement photos. I couldn’t love how they turned out more if I tried, especially the adorable knitted soccer shoes and the Team USA onesies. (Perfect for this future soccer star!)

I met Stephanie back in college when I first came to Kent State University. We were both in the public relations program and Steph was one of the first people I met when I joined the Public Relations Student Society of America. I remember being so nervous to join a group where I didn’t know anyone, but Stephanie welcomed me with a big smile and I will never forget how kind she was to me. I’m happy to say that Steph became such a great friend from that moment on and we even worked together at the same agency a few years ago!

Back in January, we ran into Steph and Larry at a Brewpath Bash in downtown Akron. After a few minutes of chatting, Steph looked at me and said “So, there’s a reason why I’m not drinking tonight…” Needless to say I freaked out and was so, so excited for these two friends to be welcoming a sweet baby into the world! We planned to take photos the first week of March and I couldn’t believe how perfect the sunset was this early in the year! (But don’t let the glowy sunset photos fool you, it was really cold out!)

We are so excited to meet Baby Duffy this summer and couldn’t be happier to watch our friends become parents! Enjoy my favorite photos from this soccer-themed baby announcement below!
